Corey Sears brings proven tackle production to Troy’s linebacker room
Corey Sears stands out as a productive, experienced linebacker for Troy, with career stat-line evidence of high-volume tackling and disruptive presence rather than flashy splash plays. His value is in reliability and downhill physicality, which can translate well to a defense that needs a steady run defender and communicator in the front seven. I could not verify current-season injury or ranking data from the available sources, but the available Troy career history shows he has been a consistent contributor, making him a sensible fit for a team that wants toughness, dependability, and assignment soundness.
