Griffin Empey is an All-America-caliber interior mauler for NDSU
Empey is one of North Dakota State’s most dependable pieces up front: in the 2025 season, he started all 13 games at right guard, earned first-team AP and Phil Steele FCS All-America honors, and posted a 91% overall grade with just one sack allowed. He stands out for power, balance, and movement skills in the run game, plus strong awareness and toughness; NDSU coaches also trusted him with 665 regular-season snaps and he helped fuel an offense that was eighth nationally in rushing. If you want a rugged, proven, low-mistake interior blocker, he fits.
