TK Powell is a reliable, efficient depth back for UTEP
TK Powell’s calling card is efficiency: ESPN lists him with 21 carries for 137 yards in his UTEP career, a 6.5-yard average, showing he can turn limited touches into real value[1][11]. Earlier UTEP roster notes described him as a speed back and walk-on who earned a scholarship, which hints at toughness, persistence, and a team-first edge that coaches tend to love[2][7]. He looks like a fit if you want a compact, explosive back who can provide depth and punish defenses in space, not necessarily a high-volume bell cow[2][7].
