FGCU freshman Kristina Mingos brings efficient minutes and academic polish
Kristina Mingos profiles as a reliable frontcourt role player for FGCU: in the 2008-09 season she appeared in 28 games, made 14 starts, averaged 10.9 minutes and 2.9 points, and earned A-Sun All-Academic honors[1]. Her value is less about volume scoring and more about low-maintenance depth, coachability, and being ready to contribute when called on[1]. Based on the available record, she looks like a fit for teams needing a disciplined, team-first forward rather than a high-usage star[1].
