Caleb Dozier brings downhill juice to South Alabama’s linebacker room
In the 2025 season, Caleb Dozier logged 40 total tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, 3 quarterback hurries, and 1 pass breakup for South Alabama, a steady stat line that hints at an active, assignment-sound linebacker who can fill lanes and stay involved. He was a three-star prospect coming out of Headland and has the kind of compact 6-foot-2, 239-pound build that fits physical run defense. The “why care” factor: he looks like a reliable, developing front-seven piece with some pop and versatility, not just a box-score accumulator.
