veteran Tennessee Tech trench worker with an old-school motor
Xavier Schlueter has been a steady, physical presence on Tennessee Tech’s defensive front, lining up at nose tackle/defensive line and bringing the kind of lunch-pail toughness coaches love. His profile shows a durable, experienced player who earned academic and leadership recognition, including Tennessee Tech’s Unsung Leader honor and NFF Hampshire Honor Society notice in 2020, which hints at reliability as much as raw ability. In the 2019 season, he showed up in the box score as an active tackler from the interior, and his best fit is a team that values assignment discipline, effort, and a stout run-first interior defender.
