Devon McCain brings guard toughness and experience to Austin Peay
McCain is a compact, experienced guard from Silsbee, Texas who profiles as a steady backcourt piece rather than a flashy volume scorer, with ESPN listing him as Austin Peay’s No. 3 guard and FOX Sports showing a 6'3", 190-pound frame that suggests more physicality than his early recruiting profile. Reliable public stats on his current Austin Peay production are limited in the available sources, so the appeal is more about fit: a guard with listed college experience, toughness, and the kind of size to handle contact and defend multiple backcourt spots. If your team values stability, versatility, and low-drama depth, he’s worth a look.
