CCSU’s old-school rim protector with real glass-cleaning juice
In the 2012 season at Central Connecticut State, Joe Efese stood out as a high-effort big who brought defense, rebounding, and efficient finishing to the Blue Devils, leading the team in field-goal percentage at .589 and blocks at 1.6 per game while also averaging 3.9 rebounds and 3.9 points in 27 games. His value was in the unglamorous stuff: protecting the paint, crashing the boards, and making the most of his touches. If your team wants a toughness-first interior presence rather than a volume scorer, he fits the bill.
