Big-frame tight end with captaincy and MVP pedigree
Chase Schutty brings a **6-5, 210-pound** frame, a **captain’s mentality**, and proven program-level recognition: he was a **three-year varsity letterwinner**, **2023 team captain**, and **2023 Team MVP** in high school before transferring to Drake.[2][3] He is the kind of TE who can fit a depth chart because he offers size, competitive edge, and some untapped upside, though his profile suggests he is still more about projection and development than finished production after a redshirt season with no game action at NIU.[1][3]
