a sturdy, two-way trench worker with Panther pedigree
Robert Hamre has been a reliable interior defensive lineman for UNI, the kind of guy who earns trust by doing the dirty work in the middle and showing up in big moments. In UNI’s 2001 and 2002 football materials, he was noted as a returnee and a pre-season third-team pick, which signals steady value rather than flash. His background also hints at athletic upside and toughness—he competed in track at UNI and was recognized academically in the league. If a team wants a disciplined, physical DT with versatility, effort, and a no-drama profile, Hamre fits the bill.
