Xander Menapace brings a pro-style frame and dual-threat flashes to Columbia’s QB room
Menapace is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound senior quarterback who finally got live game reps in 2025, completing 19 of 33 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown while adding 63 rushing yards in five games. His best trait is his size-driven, downfield upside: he can see over traffic, throw from a sturdy frame, and has enough mobility to create on the ground. Because he previously had no game action in 2023 and 2024, the key question is whether his small-sample production can translate into a more consistent Ivy League starter profile.[1][2]
