The Buzzer-Beater Specialist Turned Steady Role Player
Greg McClinton burst onto the scene at Wake Forest in 2017 with a legendary 1.6-second, full-court heave for his first career three against Virginia Tech, etching his name in ACC lore as a clutch performer. Transferring to Old Dominion for the 2017-18 season, he delivered reliable bench production as a forward, averaging 2.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 48.9% FG in limited minutes—peaking at a career-high 13 points in key games. His shooter’s touch, rebounding grit, and unflappable intensity make him a differentiator for teams needing spark off the pine; perfect fit for programs valuing hustle and highlight-reel moments without ego.
