Akeelah Lafleur is a high-upside 6-3 forward who already flashes stretch-4 value for FDU
In the 2025-26 season, Lafleur has been a productive, efficient frontcourt piece for FDU, averaging 3.8 points across 30 games on 51.0% shooting while also hitting 38.9% from three, which gives her real floor-spacing value at forward. FDU’s release says she was the 2025 BCSL Player of the Year, and the staff highlighted her shot-blocking, ability to shoot the 3, and ability to push the ball in transition. She looks like a good fit for teams needing size, spacing, and developmental upside rather than a pure volume scorer.[6][11][14]
