James Burgess Jr. brings proven linebacker instincts and rare college production to Louisville
James Burgess Jr. is a tough, experienced Louisville linebacker who flashed major production in the 2012-2015 seasons, finishing his Cardinals career with 261 tackles, 13 pass breakups, 7 interceptions, and 4.0 sacks in 49 games with 43 starts[10]. At 6-0 and about 229-230 pounds, he profiles as a physical, assignment-sound defender with enough coverage juice to disrupt throws underneath and enough range to finish plays in space[6][10]. If you value reliability, versatility, and a linebacker who plays with edge, he’s your kind of fit.
