JMU’s do-it-all wing who filled the box score and the trophy case
Kirby Burkholder was a relentlessly productive guard for James Madison, finishing her career with 1,647 points, 929 rebounds, 216 assists, 190 steals, and a program-record .870 free-throw percentage. In the 2013-14 season, she averaged 18.6 points and 8.7 rebounds and was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year, giving JMU a reliable late-game scorer who could also rebound, defend, and hit shots from deep. If you want a tough, high-motor two-way guard with proven production and leadership, she’s a strong fit.
