Versatile Edge Rusher Emmett Taliaferro: Leverage Master with Explosive Athleticism
Emmett Taliaferro, a 6'2", 240-lb Samford Bulldogs defender (listed as OL in 2021 roster but high school OLB/TE with DL traits), stands out with his elite leverage on offensive tackles, disciplined eyes for edge play, and impressive measurables like a 4.8 40-yard dash, 32" vertical, and 370-lb squat—perfect for disruptive pass rushing[1][2][3]. From powerhouse Mount Paran Christian, his high-motor intensity and positional flexibility make him a scheme-fit gem for teams needing versatile, blue-collar DL who excel in pursuit and physicality, no notable injury flags[3][6]. Why care? He's an under-the-radar disruptor ready to bully lines.
