Former Spider big with proven inside presence
Amber Petillon was a 6-foot-4 center for Richmond who gave the Spiders a real interior anchor: in the 2005 season she played in 22 games, scored in 17, hit double figures twice, and had a career-best 14 points and nine rebounds against Sacred Heart. In the 2006 season, Richmond credited her as a dominant inside force who finished second on the team in field-goal percentage, offensive rebounds, and blocked shots, and she punctuated her senior year with a 21-point, eight-rebound game against George Washington. She looks like the kind of player who brings size, efficiency, and toughness rather than flash.
