Brief College WR Stint, Now Thriving as Sports Analyst
Burke Griffin, a graduate transfer wide receiver, played just one season at Johns Hopkins in 2022 after time at New Hampshire, contributing to the Blue Jays' lineup with his high school pedigree of 4,800+ passing yards and 53 TDs as a dual-threat QB at Peninsula HS—but no standout college receiving stats available. His differentiator? Relentless drive and winner's mentality, evident in leading teams to state quarterfinals and earning Russell Wilson QB camp MVP honors. No injury concerns noted; now a polished sports director at WFRV Channel 5, he's a smart, charismatic locker room addition for teams valuing leadership over raw production.
