a physical BYU lineman whose wrestling background hints at real leverage and toughness
Rick Wolfley is a BYU offensive lineman/defensive tackle with a strong power profile, and the most useful context is his wrestling pedigree: BYU lists him as a heavyweight state champion who went undefeated as a junior, a background that usually translates to balance, hand-fighting, and leverage in the trenches. He was also recruited by programs including Utah, Notre Dame, Purdue, Utah State, and Wyoming, which suggests he had a broadly respected evaluation coming out of high school. I’d care because he looks like a tough, technically grounded line prospect rather than a stats-driven one—best fit for a team that values physicality and interior nastiness over flash.
