Explosive HS Star Turned Journeyman WR Now at Southern U
Detraveon Brown, a 6-0 Shreveport native with jaw-dropping HS stats (151 rec, 2,568 yds, 46 TDs over 37 games), flashed big-play ability at North Texas in 2021 (8 rec, 170 yds, 1 TD, 21.3 avg), but transferred to Southern University in Feb 2024 as a senior—making him a low-volume, high-upside deep threat with unproven college consistency. Care if you're hunting raw speed and touchdown flair for a FCS squad needing vertical pop; his highlight-reel intensity fits boom-or-bust offenses, though limited snaps raise reliability flags.
