Efficient, steady SUU guard with elite shooting touch
Dave Marek stands out as a smart, efficient Southern Utah guard who can stretch defenses and keep the offense organized; in his SUU career he set a program single-game 3-point mark by going 7-for-7, and he finished among the Thunderbirds’ leaders in assists, steals, and scoring versatility. His game fits teams that value poise, spacing, and low-mistake play over flashy volume, with the added appeal of a reputation for consistency and two-way effort rather than just box-score production.
