VMI veteran Keith Gabriel brings microwave scoring and long-haul production
Keith Gabriel is best known as a seasoned VMI guard who could heat up in a hurry: in the 2011–12 season he averaged 17.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, and over his VMI career he scored 1,925 points, making him one of the program’s all-time leaders. He’s the kind of wing scorer who can change a game with shot-making and energy, but his value goes beyond the box score—VMI’s own bio called him a “dynamic and explosive” presence who gave the team a burst off the wing. If you want instant offense, he’s your guy; if you need a patient, low-usage connector, probably not the fit.
