Towering DT with Skyhawk Grit and Untapped Pass-Rush Potential
At 6'2", 255 lbs, Jermaine Cooley brings imposing size and Dublin, GA toughness to UT Martin Skyhawks' defensive line as a senior in the Big South-OVC; though limited to four games in 2023 with just one tackle mainly on special teams, his high school rushing prowess (229 yards, 2 TDs in a championship clincher) hints at explosive athleticism translating to disruptive DT play. Reliable sources praise his intensity and versatility—no major injury flags—making him a high-upside fit for teams needing physical, developmental bigs with FCS starting potential. Watch for breakout in 2024.
