Manuel Serna brings developmental size and special-teams value to SJSU’s offensive line
Serna is a big-bodied, local product who has already earned game action at San Jose State, appearing in 11 games in 2024 mainly on special teams and briefly stepping in at left tackle against Central Michigan in 2025.[4] At 6-foot-5 and around 282-300 pounds, he has the frame coaches want in a tackle, plus a reputation for steady development after arriving from Clayton Valley, where he was a first-team all-league lineman and honor-roll student.[1][4][7] He looks like a fit for a program that values versatility, toughness, and long-term upside over immediate star power.[4][7]
