Michael Allen brings special-teams value and DB versatility to Lamar
Michael Allen is a defensive back with a clear fit for a team that values versatility, toughness, and special-teams impact. Public roster information identifies him as a safety who contributed on kickoff return and punt units at Baylor, which suggests a player willing to do the dirty work and help in multiple phases, not just in coverage. That kind of role profile matters for coaches looking for dependable depth and a high-effort piece who can compete for snaps while raising the floor of the room.
