In the 2025 season, Herman Brister III emerged as one of the SWAC’s most reliable defenders, posting 76 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, and a forced fumble while earning first-team All-SWAC honors. At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, he brings size, range, and consistent run support, and he’s been trusted enough to earn spots on preseason watch lists for both the Aeneas Williams Award and HBCU National Player of the Year.
