the glue-player guard who wins with effort, timing, and team-first instincts
Andrea Koeper is valued less for flashy box-score volume and more for the hard-nosed, high-IQ stuff coaches love: relentless effort, “little things” impact, and versatility that showed up in her Southeast Missouri State profile as a hard worker who led the team in assists in multiple games and even rebounding once in the 2001-02 season. She also flashed a real all-around bite in that season, including an 11-point, 5-rebound game and a 10-rebound outing, which points to toughness, competitiveness, and a willingness to do whatever the team needs. If your team wants a gritty, selfless backcourt piece rather than a pure shot-creator, she fits the bill.
