Tony Rodriguez brings veteran depth and versatility to FAU’s secondary
In the 2026 season, Tony Rodriguez is listed by Florida Atlantic as a redshirt junior defensive back at 5-foot-11, and his value is less about flash and more about reliability, flexibility, and being the kind of steady secondary piece coaches trust. FAU’s prior game notes described him as both a starter and reserve, which signals a player who can plug into different roles without losing composure. If your team needs a physical, experienced DB who can absorb assignments and stay ready, Rodriguez looks like a practical fit.
