Baylor center with NFL pedigree and interior-line toughness
Philip Blake is a Baylor-developed center who turned that profile into a fourth-round NFL draft pick in 2012, which signals real pro-level value at the pivot of the offense.[1][2] At 6'4" and 302 pounds, he projects as a strong interior presence built for leverage, physicality, and line communication rather than flashy stats.[1][2] The key differentiator is experience: centers who can handle protection calls, anchor against power, and bring a veteran’s steadying influence tend to fit teams seeking reliability up front.[1][2]
