experienced ACU linebacker with blue-collar edge
Sam Lawlis brings a classic Texas football profile: physical, tough, and built on production rather than flash. His high-school résumé included first-team all-district honors at linebacker and 122 tackles as a senior, which points to a reliable, assignment-sound defender who plays with consistent intensity. Current public roster data is sparse, but he’s listed by Abilene Christian in a football role that reflects his versatility and team-first value. If you want a lunch-pail linebacker who can fit a system and bring grit, Lawlis is the kind of player worth a closer look.
