Chandler Alderman brings mound-eating durability and strikeout upside for MTSU
A left-handed starter for Middle Tennessee, Chandler Alderman has shown real workhorse value, leading the Blue Raiders in innings and strikeouts in 2025 while throwing two complete games and earning Conference USA Pitcher of the Week honors after a dominant outing against UAB. His calling card is competitiveness: he works deep into games, can miss bats when locked in, and has handled big innings in conference play. The fit is strongest for teams that value a tough, inning-stable southpaw with starter makeup, even if his command and run prevention have been more volatile than elite.
