Rodney Shorter II brings size, versatility, and steady linebacker upside to Jackson State
Rodney Shorter II is a 6'2", 217-pound linebacker for Jackson State who profiles as a physical, downhill defender with enough frame to hold up in the box and enough athleticism to stay involved on the second level.[5][4] His recruiting profile lists him as an inside linebacker, which fits a role built around reads, contact balance, and run support rather than flashy stat-stuffing.[4] There is limited public game-production data available for Jackson State, so his current value is best judged by his build, position fit, and depth-chart potential rather than a long statistical résumé.[5]
