Nick Chasten brought tough, reliable frontcourt production to NCCU
In the 2011 season, Nick Chasten was a steady 6-7 forward who gave North Carolina Central a physical interior presence, finishing with 9.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game while shooting 47.8% from the field.[3][5] NCCU’s own reporting describes him as the Eagles’ “double-double man,” and his 24-point, 8-rebound outburst against North Carolina A&T showed he could swing games when he got downhill and played with force.[1][4] He looks like the kind of forward who fits a program that values effort, toughness, and consistent two-way production more than flash.[1][3]
