UTRGV lefty Víctor Loa brings strike-throwing upside and comeback grit
Víctor Loa is a left-handed pitcher at UTRGV who has built a reputation for dominating high school competition and earning national attention, including a Pitcher of the Day nod after a no-hit outing and recognition on the National Pitcher of the Year Watch List. His appeal is the blend of proven arm talent, competitive intensity, and resilience after an injury battle, which suggests a pitcher who can give a staff both upside and toughness. He looks like a fit for teams valuing a battle-tested lefty with real swing-and-miss potential.
