McNeese’s Steven Whitehead: A proven playmaker with elite return value and big-play speed
Whitehead stands out as more than a receiver: he was a 2006 Southland Conference Player of the Year and All-American, with 4.3 speed, strong punt/kick return impact, and a history of explosive plays that make him dangerous in space.[2][6][8] In his McNeese career, he produced at a high level as both a receiver and return specialist, while a 2007 injury-shortened season shows durability is the main context to monitor.[2][6] If your team wants a versatile, high-ceiling weapon who can flip field position and stress defenses vertically, he fits that profile.[2][6]
