an under-the-radar frontcourt piece with roster-name overlap issues
There isn’t reliable, athlete-specific basketball coverage available here for a Texas A&M-Corpus Christi forward named Chad Nelson, and the search results did not return verified 2026 season stats or scouting notes for him. Because of that, there’s no accurate way to assess his current production, rankings, or fit beyond saying he remains an unverified name on the Islanders’ radar rather than a clearly documented impact player. If this is the right Chad Nelson, he needs a confirmed roster/profile source before any serious team-fit verdict.
