Jason Freeman brings proven tackling production and every-down reliability for South Dakota State
Freeman profiles as a dependable, high-motor linebacker whose value starts with production and consistency: in the 2023 season, he led South Dakota State with 84 tackles, played in all 15 games, and started 12 times, which points to both durability and trust from the staff.[3] The differentiator is not just volume, but role—he opened the season with a four-tackle performance at Iowa and stayed on the field in key moments, suggesting a player who fits physical, assignment-sound defenses and can raise the floor of a unit through steady, hard-nosed play.[3]
