McMurry’s Noah Ayala is a developing 6-6 frontcourt piece with size and defensive upside
Noah Ayala enters the 2026-27 McMurry mix as a sophomore forward from El Paso, and the early read is simple: he brings length, rebounding pedigree, and block-factory potential from his high school résumé, where he finished with 975 rebounds and 138 blocks while scoring 1,042 points. McMurry’s roster lists him at 6-6, and his freshman college usage was very limited in 2025-26, so his value now is more projection than production. If a team wants a high-motor, defensive-minded wing/forward who can grow into a real rim-eraser, Ayala is worth the wait.
