Sam Silas is turning into a reliable two-way spark for Georgia State
In the 2026 season, Georgia State infielder Sam Silas has been a steady contact bat and a useful glue guy, hitting .265 with 27 hits, 21 RBI, 21 runs, and 9 stolen bases while handling the infield at a .981 fielding percentage. He also flashed upside in a 4-for-4, 3-RBI, 2-steal game against Bellarmine, showing he can impact a game with speed, pressure, and timely hitting[1][3]. If you want a competitive, versatile middle-infield type who brings energy, situational value, and a little sneaky pop, Silas is absolutely worth caring about[1][2].
