Hampton Pirates CB Calvin Bannister: Battle-Tested Starter with Speed and All-Conference Pedigree
Calvin Bannister, a senior cornerback for the Hampton Pirates in 2006, started all eight games he appeared in as a junior after earning Defensive Player of the Year honors at William Fleming High School, where he also dominated track with wins in the 100m and 200m dashes—highlighting elite speed and athleticism. Despite missing four games due to an ankle injury, his resilience and all-conference credentials make him a gritty, versatile DB ideal for teams needing lockdown coverage and big-play potential from a proven competitor.
