Air Force’s David Baska: Trusted specialist with Ray Guy-level recognition
David Baska has been a dependable Air Force punter/holder, good enough to draw Ray Guy Award candidate mention as a junior and to earn visible game reps in key Mountain West matchups. His edge is reliability in the cadet-run, field-position game: he’s used both as a punter and holder, which signals trust from the staff and versatility under pressure. For a team that values disciplined, mistake-free special teams, Baska projects as a steady fit rather than a splashy one.
