Jayda Crosby brings power, contact, and leadoff chaos to Fresno State
Jayda Crosby looks like the kind of freshman who can change a lineup fast: in the 2026 season, she hit .235 with a .391 on-base percentage and supplied extra-base pop, including a home run and a run-producing RBI single in conference play[1][2]. The bigger story is her profile, though—she arrived with elite prep credentials, including 2025 First Team All-State honors and a .539 senior batting average, and she was strong enough to land on Softball America’s 2026 Freshman Watch List[1][2]. That’s a hitter with competitiveness, upside, and enough versatility at SS/UTL to fit a roster that values toughness and spark[1].
