Academic All-Big 12 CB with Elite Discipline for Kansas
Deron Dangerfield, the Kansas Jayhawks' cornerback (2012–2013), stands out not just for his on-field presence but for his rare dual excellence: he earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors in 2013, reflecting intense discipline, intellectual rigor, and a personality built on consistency and responsibility. While specific tackle or interception stats from his senior year aren't widely published, his differentiator is his unwavering focus—both in the classroom and on the field—making him a low-risk, high-integrity fit for any team seeking reliability over flash. No major injury history is recorded, and his intensity level is underscored by his academic achievement, suggesting a player who thrives under structure and accountability. If your team values athletes who balance performance with personal growth, Dangerfield is a compelling, culture-positive addition.
