Tyson Weaver is a long, developmental Washington State DB with upside
In the 2024 season, Tyson Weaver redshirted and did not appear in a game for Washington State, so the current read is more about projection than production. The upside is clear: at roughly 6-1 and 187 pounds, he came out of Eastside Catholic as a three-star defensive back with strong ball skills, including 32 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble in high school. He looks like a player worth tracking for size, athletic frame, and future special-teams/coverage value rather than immediate stat-sheet fireworks.
