Asa Martin brings proven versatility and veteran efficiency to Troy’s backfield
In the 2023 season at Troy, Asa Martin logged 25 carries for 114 rushing yards and added 11 catches for 82 receiving yards, flashing the two-way utility that makes him more than a standard RB.[13] Earlier reports on his move to Troy highlighted his proven pass-catching ability from Memphis, where he totaled 60 receptions for 567 yards and three touchdowns, plus 776 rushing yards and 10 scores over three seasons.[3] That kind of change-of-pace, keep-the-defense-honest profile is valuable for a team that wants a back who can stay on the field in multiple roles.[3][4]
