steady, high-volume SIUE guard who can swing a game from deep
Melia Duncan was a durable, veteran SIUE guard who finished her career as the Cougars’ all-time games played leader with 117 and ranked 26th in scoring with 866 points, while also sitting fourth all-time in 3-pointers made, which points to a reliable perimeter threat and strong guard versatility[3][4]. Her value went beyond box scores: she repeatedly showed up in big moments, including first-half scoring bursts and late free throws that helped seal wins, suggesting a competitive, trustable player under pressure[2][5][8].
