Berkley Zache flashes legit freshman upside for Oklahoma
In the 2026 season, Berkley Zache gave Oklahoma a quietly valuable relief weapon: a 2.28 ERA over 14 appearances and 15.1 innings, with 14 strikeouts, seven walks, and opponents hitting .263. She’s a 6-foot right-hander with a power look, good strike-throwing for a freshman, and enough poise that she worked in pressure moments late in the year. The bigger takeaway: she looked like a future impact arm before leaving for the transfer portal, so any team in need of upside, size, and development runway should absolutely care.
