Marcus Dowtin anchors UNA’s defense as a captain and tackle leader
Marcus Dowtin stood out at North Alabama as a senior linebacker and team captain who led the Lions with 47 tackles, signaling dependable production and clear on-field leadership. His value goes beyond the stat line: being trusted to captain the defense suggests strong communication, intensity, and coaching confidence, which are exactly the traits teams want in the middle of a unit. If you need a steady, assignment-sound linebacker who brings veteran presence and can organize a defense, Dowtin fits that profile well.[1]
