North Carolina linebacker Sam Blobe is a seasoned local defender with proven tackling pedigree
Blobe brings a classic linebacker profile to UNC: a 6-2, 235-pound senior from Carrboro who starred locally with 136 tackles as a senior in high school and all-conference honors as a junior and senior. His current college production is limited, with only two career game appearances, so the appeal is more about body type, defensive instincts, and developmental upside than proven on-field volume. If you want a physical, homegrown depth piece with special-teams potential and a high-motor background, he fits that mold well.
