NCCU linebacker with veteran size and developmental upside
Kimani Jones is listed as a linebacker for North Carolina Central, and his profile shows a sturdy 5'11", 195-pound frame with experience in the program’s system, which can matter as much as splashy stats for a defense that values reliability and assignment football[1][3]. The big differentiator here is pedigree and fit: he’s a true NCCU product who has been in the defensive pipeline for years, and that kind of continuity usually signals a player who understands leverage, communication, and how to play fast when the lights come on[1][4].
